If you are looking to play one of the most exciting casino games out there, then it would be totally worth it to have a look at craps. It is a great dice game that attracts tens if not hundreds of players around a table in a Las Vegas lobby. The internet then came and made the game even more accessible and players can play the game from the comfort of their own homes. Before you start pulling crowds, however, you will have to learn the Craps rules and eventually the strategies that will make you a force to reckon with in the game.
General Craps Rules
Craps rules are pretty straightforward but for any beginner out there, we will start from the beginning and learn how this magnificent game is played. The craps table may look a bit intimidating but the game is not as complicated as you might imagine. The craps tables have bets marked on them. Players also referred to as shooters, place bets on which number they think the dice will land on once thrown. The first step is to place your chips on your bet and other players can also place bets if they want. Players then take turns to roll the dice and the first roll is referred to as the “come out roll”. The layer rolls the dice until there is a loss. If the thrown dice hit 7 or 11 the pass line bets win and the don’t pass bets lose and the round ends at this point. If the come out roll is 2, 3 or 12, the don’t pass line bets lose, the pass line bets win and the round also ends.
Craps Rules And Gameplay
According to craps rules, rolling 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 on the come out roll will make the number rolled a point number and the shooter will continue playing until the number 7 or the point number itself is rolled. Pass line bets win if the point number is rolled in this case and the other bettors lose. The opposite happens if a 7 is rolled.
